While reading Catch-22 I've noticed that a lot of the men in the squadron are paranoid, but for different reasons. Some are paranoid of outside sources, and some are even paranoid of men in their own tents. I've met Hungry Joe who suffers from nightmares every night keep people awake and who started the war as a happy-go-lucky guy. I also learned a different meaning for Catch-22 which states that you have to obey anything your commanding officer says, whether or not the Air Force overall says anything different.
